Bipin Rawat dies in helicopter crash | India’s top military chief

Captain Bipin Rawat dies in helicopter crash. 13 people including Defence Chief General Bipin Rawat and his Wife Madhulika Rawat were Killed In Chopper Crash at Coonoor, Tamil Nadu. Out of which only Group Captain Varun Singh is alive and being treated for severe burns. An Indian Air Force Helicopter Mi-17 V5 with General Rawat crashed after the copter took off from the Air Force base in Sulur at 11.45 am.


Bipin Rawat was going to attend a function at the Indian Army Elite Educational Institute – Defence Staff College. But the accident happened sometime before Wellington Army Camp.
